Name Instructor Course Date Why Louis hated himself Louis was not born as a vampire but was born into the darkness of vampirism at the age of 25 when he was condemned to eternal life as a dead man. Louis lived in New Orleans together with mother, sister and brother where they owned a plantation. Their family was religious thus they were born and raised in the Catholic faith. He did not escape the torture of his brother's death; his sister started being harassed by questions about their brother's death and became hysterical. Louis blamed himself for all the miseries that his family was going through and started to drink. He wanted to die but he had no courage of killing himself because he knew that suicide is a sin according to the Catholic faith. So he started to walk in the dark streets alone with hopes of being murdered. After Lestat transformed Louis into one...
