Jonathan Gottschall's article "Why fiction is good for you" questions what makes fiction to people because they are known to spend a lot of time watching TV shows and films. Gottschall's article describes a convincing case that fiction is vital to the human race. He argues that fiction is a tool that creates social empathy and stabilizes the common good.
