Watching through the episode, the layout is quite interesting. And the themes in the episode are aligned with comics to make the content more interesting. The real reason why car dealerships are the worst is tied to the element of congestion and the illusion of freedom. There are also a number of other smaller reasons that build up to and bring out the element of congestion and freedom. Car manufacturers are tied to the car dealership, making it hard for the companies manufacturing cars to sell directly to the users. That way, the cars are charged a much higher price. At the same time the car dealership has also pioneered policies that are an inhibition to the car manufacturers to get out of the partnership. This way the car manufacturers like the users are tied in a loop in which they cannot find freedom. To make sure that the public is using cars, the roads are set widely apart. As more people buy cars to get to their place of work and home among the various places that they would visit, there is a demand for more roads. However, when more roads are constructed, they are then filled with more cars and there is need for more roads consequently. As such, as more cars are manufactured, the need for roads and packing increases, setting more land apart for the roads in an endless loop. This brings out the message of the episode as related to the car and the illusion of freedom. Ideally the car is the pivotal element in the debate about car dealerships selling the customers a rather entangled mess of a never ending loop of need of space and transport.
