The website  HYPERLINK "/Islam/" /Islam/ provides useful information about the history of Islam religion and how it was inspired through prophet Muhammed. It explains how the archangel Gabriel revealed the word of Allah to Muhammad, which was later codified into the Qur’an – the Muslim Holy book. The website also describes the spread of Islam across the Arabian Peninsula and in other areas in Europe. It also focuses on the childhood of Muhammed, his mission, and his influence in forming Islam. Finally, the site describes some Islamic practices such as separation of women from men, polygamy, distinguishes Shiite and Sunni Muslims, celebrations, and today’s Islamic events such as the Jihad. This website is credible because it contains historical facts presented through interlinks for further information (Islam). The website  HYPERLINK "http://history-world.org/islam2.htm" http://history-world.org/islam2.htm offers important information from the birth of Muhammed, to his revelations, and later to his death. This website describes how Muhammed began attracting his first followers in Mecca, but also the opposition he faced from the influential people in Mecca. The site continues to explain the escape of Muhammed and his followers from Mecca to Medina after intense prosecution ensued. It also describes the aggressive or forceful tactics that ensued as Muhammed tried to win converts and later his return to Mecca so that he can cleanse the city of idol worship. This website is credible because it employs actual sayings from Muhammed and citations from the Qur’an itself (Islam from the Beginning to 1300).
