Gilgamesh
The historical account revolves around a Sumerian hero who lived in the Near East region in the year 2000 B.C.E. The great Sumerian hero is of significance within the historical context of the modern society. Arguments to develop such reasoning develop in the sense that he embarked on a journey of immorality after endeavoring several misfortunes. Importantly, the story of Gilgamesh speaks of earthly things with a deeply embedded message that points to the fact that death is the ultimate end to existence. On the same note, there is an account of divinity exhibited by Gilgamesh, who was a king in a great city.
Gilgamesh is an account of a creation story that includes an archeological curiosity that displays the wrath cast by gods. Importantly, there is a deeply connected explanation of the origin of the civilization of mankind in the case that it gives particular lessons on the role of king. Given such reasoning, there is a need to point that Gilgamesh is an account of an earthly fame and the pursuit of morality when a man tries to find comfort in the impending hands of death. For example, there is the mention of the character Gilgamesh who is partly man and a god who learns to seek the deep secret to eternal life. In this view, the historical account of Gilgamesh gives the moral lesson of the price of angering the gods.
