Chuck Lorre is also famously known for other productions such as Mom and the most loved TV series, Two and a Half Men. The show first premiered on CBS in September 2007. Throughout the years, the television series has twelve seasons with 24 episodes each. When the show first started, there were only five major characters. These are, Leonard and Sheldon Cooper, who are both obsessed with Physics and are roommates. Then there is Penny, their next door neighbor who works as a waitress but aspires to be an actress. Both Leonard and Sheldon have awkward friends by the name Howard Wolowitz and Raj. Howard is an aerospace engineer while Raj who is an astrophysicist. Over the development of the series, more characters like Bernadette, Stuart, and Leslie have been added to the show. The essay presents an analysis of the show, Big Bang Theory. There is also a sequential series that also airs on CBS by the name Young Sheldon, which is based on Sheldon’s character in the Big Bang Theory. A Canadian rock band wrote the theme song of the Big Bang Theory. The song describes how the universe and the earth were formed.
