Introduction
In the area of film aesthetics, many different things support how movies look and how they tell stories. Some of these parts are the photography, the setting, the editing, the sound design, and the visual effects. Combining and playing with different aesthetic aspects is essential to effectively communicate the artistic vision and keep the audience's attention. Cinematography is the art of capturing moving pictures. It is a necessary part of how a film looks. The way a movie is shot, how it is framed, how it is lit, and how the camera moves all affect how it looks and how it makes you feel. It can draw attention to certain things, show connection or distance, and make people think. For example, taking pictures from a low angle can show control and power, while taking photos from a high grade can show insignificance or weakness (Anonymous, 2020). The sound effects in a movie can be changed to make the viewer feel different things. More visual effects are used in modern movies than ever before. Aesthetics are essential in visual and performing arts because they help artists express their thoughts and make people feel something. The deliberate artistic choices made in a movie can change the plot, give it a unique look, and start a discussion. For people to feel more connected to a film, how it looks and sounds are crucial in capturing their interest and imagination. In graphic arts, aesthetics serve the same purpose as music. Artists use various visual elements, techniques, and materials to share their ideas, question cultural norms, and connect with their audiences (Cooper, 2019). Aesthetics lets artists express complex thoughts and feelings, make people think and reflect, and start a conversation with the audience.

The Role of Aesthetics
Movies benefit from aesthetics and the visual arts because they increase their impact, showcase artistic concepts, and engage the audience. Filmmakers can create entertaining, captivating movies by purposefully utilizing creative techniques and aesthetics. "Mise-en-scène" is the French term for how something appears in a photograph. It covers the design of the set, the actors' placement, and the manufacture of the costumes and props. Each of these elements impacts the story and aesthetic of a film (Gibbs, 2021). A scene can be made to feel alive and convey its meaning by using color schemes, textures, and visual motifs. The act of selecting and combining photos to create a coherent narrative is known as editing. The shots' tempo, rhythm, and order alter the audience's perception of time, place, and emotions. Jump cuts, montage, and cross-cutting are all effective strategies to increase drama, create tension, or establish the connection between two stories.
