Early 20th century till late in 1980s, goods and services moved from the developed countries to the developing countries while raw materials and other inputs to the goods production were exported to the developed countries from the developing countries. This pattern of trade existed due to various factors such as technology and facilitation of the production processes within the dominant and developed countries. In this period, the dominant countries were also the colonist of the developing countries. After reestablishment of the developing countries in the late 20th century the raw materials have decreased while manufactured goods have increased in favor of the developing countries. Exports of the unprocessed goods are still significant but not to the extent which it was valued in early 20th century. Most of the garments raw materials are located in the developing countries. In order to achieve the aspect of modernization, industries have been developed in the developing countries where they bring the overturn of the trade and also lead to modernization of these developing countries.
Most of the items have originated from different countries in different continents. The level of quality differs from one country that is why I choose different products from different manufacturers. In summary most of the products which I possess originate from companies of Asia (Cooke, 2000).
