Environmental preservation has become a very important agenda all over the globe. This practice is done to improve the condition of the surroundings of human kind. In line to this, many international organizations have been formed to help observing the condition of the environment. One of such organizations is United Nation Environmental Programme (UNEP). This programme focuses on the rights of indigenous people and their practises towards environment conservation. The main aim of this paper is to discuss about indigenous people and their contribution towards improving the environment condition.
United Nation Environmental Programme has a publication department known as the New Perspectives. This programme publishes relevant discussion about the indigenous people and their relationship with environmental condition. It proposes appropriate ideas to help in improving the condition of surroundings of this community. The main agenda of the programme is to achieve a conductive environment and implementation of the proposed ideas.
