Introduction
The world nations survive on infrastructural development given the case that they fuel and fund economic progression. Given such a development, it is important to define the term infrastructures as presented in the American context. The word is a term that defines the basic facilities of a given nature. This means that it includes the services and necessary installation that fuel the proper functioning of the community or society. These would include the basic transportation services, the communication systems. Additionally, the power line or sources of energy and public institutions also form a great part of the term infrastructure. Other important elements of the infrastructural systems include the emergency systems which are the medical personnel, the fire department and the rescue teams. Notably, the government continuity process also forms part of the term infrastructure. In light of such a development, this paper will analyze the available infrastructural systems in America with particular examples from Texas (Cypher & Dietz, 2004).
Commercial facilities in America
The word commercial facilities are abroad terminology that is used to imply to certain areas that bring people together. This statement means that these are areas of intense activities that attract people from various places on the normal daily operations. Importantly, such a definition also means that it is an area that facilitates the public access in the sense that the general public is allowed to move in such area freely. A good point to note is that the commercial facilities in the American society are mostly privately own. This means that the federal government has no dealings within these areas. The major commercial facilities in America include the gaming sectors which would include casinos and clubs that accommodate gambling for the high profiled clientele of the American society. These areas are privately owned and operated by the tycoons and other wealthy people from the American Society. The real estate industry is also another commercial facility of salient mention. These facilities manage and rent office building and luxurious apartments. Thus, the offer services that range from the storage facilities to the general purpose. On the same note, there are the public assemblies that range from the stadiums, the aquariums and the museums. These palaces offer a unique recreational opportunity for the American families. On the same note, there are the lodging areas where people meet for conferences and other purposes. The entertainment industry also has value in the mention of the commercial facilities. These include the music studios, media and broadcasting stations and the film studios. America has a variety of the entertainment industry which includes television channels and the music and film studios located specifically in Hollywood. A good example of such facilities would include the Texas Commercial Insurance Facility which is located in Tyler (Texas, 2008).
