Racism: Poor Development Of Various Nations

This anti-moral aspect in society originates from the weird thoughts of some individuals that people from different origins should always remain separated from one another even if they dwell in the same nation. Racism has triggered various negative effects in the community like wars, slavery, and poor development of various nations and non-observation of legal codes (Anti-Defamation League, 2019). Many nations including America have gone through severe issues of racism mostly based on skin color. Consideration of demographics of those currently in power in the US House of Representatives and Senate indicate that the laws instituted since 1964 to promote racial equality have failed. Before the institution of the rules, many blacks had gone through severe traumas leading to mediation in the House to enhance the welfare of everyone in the country. For instance, various junior schools could protest against the admission of blacks in the same schools they enrolled forcing black students to study in separate institutions. In 1956, another sad incidence happened to a black woman who tried to enter Alabama University with a career objective of studying Library Science (King, 2019). Unfortunately, students and even adults mocked the young lady by harsh words and also threw rotten eggs and stones and her feeble tender body. Who would have thought that adults with mature brains would indulge themselves in such poor mannerisms? Consequently, the National Guard was then involved in a cruel act of preventing African Americans from entering a school made for the whites, making declarations of war if the black students made any attempts of entry. This action raised an alarm to the House of Senate and Representatives whereby a major decision to make rules towards levelling of racism was implemented. However, the laws did not take a positive route in dealing with the problem because many incidences of looking down at blacks followed without hesitation. It was hardly a year after making of the rules before two whites from New York, Michael Schwerner and Andrew Goodman disappeared after they had burnt An African American sanctuary by Ku Klux Klan (King, 2019). This incidence proved that the rules made nothing to the racists as it occurred immediately after the implementation of the laws. The worst part about the issue is that moral decay affected everyone from the young people to adults and also the elderly covering the entire population, implying that racism would be passed from one generation to the other despite the efforts made to sweep it away from the community. For example, Dylann Roof shot nine black Christians including a pastor and a member of the Senate at the age of 21years. In another incidence, Holden Matthews is charged with a crime of burning three historical churches belonging to blacks at the same age (King, 2019). Young adults had already got involved in various actions proving racism, showing that ageing with such individuals will give the blacks a hard time.
