Studying is one of the most engaging activities which need students to adopt strategies that would help them achieve high memory retention for successful understanding of course materials and the ultimate passing exams. Among the many memory retention techniques available for students, I recommend the most applicable three: rote learning, elaborative rehearsal, and engaging in dual coding.
Rote Learning
Primarily, rote learning involves the exclusive use of repetition and rehearsal to ensure that students can recall the information learned more quickly. Despite not being effective in all situations, rote learning helps the students to retain much of the learned content.
