Many studies on internal training transfer have been undertaken, although rarely in international contexts. For example, a training project for a Korean corporation was analyzed to see how training design affects the transfer of HRD training for a worldwide company. The study focused on the learning, transfer, and factors limiting or promoting training transfer by Korean HRD professionals. As a consequence of data analysis, we can see the degree of learning and training transfer and the reasons for high or low discussions and conclusions were made to enable global programmers to create effective cross-cultural training programs (Lim, 2000).
The sequential explanatory mixed-methods research of All Answers Ltd. (2018) studies sought to identify, define, and assess factors affecting training transfer among Iranian medical schools. Overall, employees found six key elements that affect training transfer in Iran's medical universities: training design factors, management factors, environmental aspects, cultural factors, supportive factors, and individual characteristics.
Research shows need assessment, goal setting, considering the time required to do the job, content relevance significantly affect the transfer of training within the training design. Training programs are often an effective way to improve employee performance on the job. The study found that management and monitoring mechanisms set in the organization play a role in the ability of employees to transfer learning acquired during training programs.
