Extraneous variables

Extraneous Variables Name: Institution: In any experiment there are those variables that affect the establishment of the true relationship between the variables in the research design (Mirchin, 2013). These variables are thus referred to as the extraneous variables as they affect the desired outcome of the research. As such they bring in the element of error in the research design and therefore the results and the ultimate interpretation of the data. There are several types of variables, all of which can be the extraneous variables in the experiment. If by chance the experiment is working with physical attributes of the aspect of the research subject, there are chances that some of the extraneous variables are going to be physical in nature.
