The management of organizational change involves the use of systematic methods to plan and execute required changes to help achieve the goals of the organization. Managing organizational change requires critical thinking and evaluation of the company setting and situational context before its implementation.
In most cases, changes are inevitable in organizations due to factors such as competition, regulation or any other that directly impact their effectiveness. Consequently, for organizations to survive under such changing conditions, organizational change becomes necessary. Organizations that do not embrace such changes become likely to fail under pressure due to the inability to achieve set targets and goals (Satell, 2019). Such changes must be led from a leadership perspective after proper analysis of the organization’s capabilities and overall market situation. Leadership that correctly implements such changes gets support from other lower-level employees considering the needs for improvement in both operations and service delivery.
