social impact scholarship

I was a co-leader of a group of 4 students who carried out charity program in Canada last year. The name of the charity is Cobequid Children First Foundation and it is a charitable organization located in Truro, Canada. This local charity's main endeavor is the annual Christmas Index Program. The core idea of this fundraiser was to raise donations for the Christmas Index Program in a form of money or toys. The fundraiser was called “IFB Christmas Toy Drive” (CTD) and the target was to raise 200 dollars worth of toys (25 toys) but we ended up with an amount of 361.19 dollars worth of toys (29 toys). Below are the instructions: The Social Impact Scholarship is for applicants who have held a permanent role, either paid or as a volunteer, at a non-governmental organization (NGO), charity, or multilateral, or have their own social startup organization. this scholarship is seeking applicants who have shown the ability to manage projects or tasks for a social organization while implementing solutions to benefit society as a whole.
