Everyone comes from a family, which no one chooses at birth. However, individuals are privileged to select people they want to be their friends. Family members and friends are important in life since they enable them to overcome various challenges and find happiness through healthy interactions and social networks.
Friendship and relating well with family members help individuals achieve purpose and meaning in life, making it possible to overcome problems. People with good relationships with their relatives and friends lead longer and healthier lives (Newman, 2020). This is because they get support, intimacy, and create strong emotional bonds that help them persevere and address numerous challenges in life.
