The U.S. emerged from the Depression because of its mechanization and thriving factories that came up during the war. The private sector at last benefited from the advancements in technology. When the solders returned from war, they were in need of housing. This made the housing sector grow vigorously. Many factories came up, and industrialization was inevitable. It was established to promote peace and security among member states. One of its objectives was to develop friendly relations between nations.
