I have just completed college and landed a job as a presidential advisor. The most single most vital recommendation I would make to a new incoming president is to focus on economy. Economic development should be the first priority for the new incoming president. Although, president Obama has tried improving the US economy, it has not improved as expected. Therefore, developing economy should be the top priority for the incoming president. It is not going to be a rapid process and it will not be an easy task; so it will require patience, hardworking and effective economic policies. The country needs effective economic and financial policies to bring economic development at grassroots levels, and promote liberty, prosperity and peace in the society (Kirshner, 2014). Amid the present financial and economic challenges, the new incoming president can perform well if he calls the actions of presidents who have come before him. Developing efficient economic policies are necessary for improved living standards at the grassroots level.
The incoming president will make oath promising to fulfill all the promises he pledges during campaigns. Among the promise is to restore economic recovery. The incoming president can learn how his predecessors addressed the issue of economic recovery.
