Many are loosing work days due to back injury. Although they routinely perform tasks involving heavy physical labor, during the construction period, you are unsure about their level of physical activity at home and outside of work. You would like to be certain that injuries are work-related, because he may have fallen at home. Or, the back pain could be rooted in some other cause. 
Assignment: Your task for this paper is to:
Explore the factors that you would take into consideration in making your determination that the back-related musculoskeletal disorder is work-related, and
Design a program to reduce these injuries in your construction workers.

Musculoskeletal injuries are the highest rates of injuries in the U.S among workers. The greatest reason for these injuries is due to manual lifting of heavy equipment, moving and repositioning them. The disorders affect joints, muscles, tendons and muscles in the musculoskeletal muscles CITATION NIO15 \l 1033 (NIOSH, 2015).
As the site construction manager, there is need to determine if the work environment eposes workers to the disorders. Since the tasks involving heavy lifting are occasional, it is critical to determine that injuries occur at work. First, refer medical files of workers who have reported the pains. This ensures that they received injuries during the working period at the site.
Secondly is to examine their work schedule to determine hours taken working before and after breaks. This length of time shows if they strain their muscles during break periods. Thirdly, examine the time taken to lift heavy equipment or materials, the amount of time for staying in one position or bending.
