Introduction
Worldview shares a basic reality of a certain culture which is based on culture, values, and assumptions defining how an individual views the world. The diversity of the worldviews enables classification of people’s perspectives basing on the differences in culture, communities, and families. Postmodernism and scientism philosophical concepts hinder the acknowledgment of spirituality in the healthcare setting. In my case, my Christian faith influences my worldview as I have developed vast scientific knowledge that has grown into pluralism thus affecting my global perspective of spirituality. The reflective paper herein entails a discussion on Christian spirituality and how it contrasts modern relativism and scientism perspectives as well as the discussion on the personal understanding of the worldview.

Postmodernism relativism mainly leaves a room for pluralism thus serving as a subdue spiritualism and deny the evidence of facts in healthcare. Postmodernism relativism theory disregards ethical considerations in the address of human life. The coexistence of postmodernism relativity and spiritualism aspects contributed to the worldview through the promotion of individual spirituality. In healthcare set p, the role of Christian spirituality and science interlinks to play a significant role in the provision of care to patients and none should exist on its own.
