Learning process takes place differently among individuals. Studies indicate that each individual has a specific learning style also known as learning preference. Information presented in this style enable learners to learn best. Learners who prefer to learn through visual content would learn best if information was presented in a visual package or through graphics. Others like kinesthetic learners would do so by involving bodily movement through the process. Learning style is therefore the way learners gather, shift through, interpret, organize and come to conclusion about a particular information. It applies too to storage and future use of that information. Most learning styles are categorized in terms of sensory approaches namely visual, aural, and verbal-that is reading and writing, and kinesthetic. From the exercise, the writer preferred learning style can be categorized as multi-dimensional. The writer has scored highly on both kinesthetic and read/ write. These indicates a strong association with written materials. The author put clear emphasis on clarity which is associated written instruction. Writers learning mode is text oriented which means the writer would prefer to have instruction in short clear and easy to comprehend texts. The use of lists, internet, thesaurus and dictionary are primary sources of information for the writer can be explained by the VARK model. Additional the writer has also scored highly on kinesthetic. This modality uses demonstration, practice or simulation in learning. In as much as the writer would prefer to read and write, being part of the action and learning through experience is also important. Use of case study, practice and actual applications also form part of the writers learning strategy. To further support the multi dynamism of the writer learning preference, the writer also prefer information given in graphics form. A combination of words and charts, diagrams and graphs with a little provision for participation describe the writer learning preference. Both kinesthetic, visual and read or write form part of the writers learning preferences. The writer gathers information from all the four models, synthesizes them and then use the information this give the writer a broader view of the subject at hand.
