OBSERVATIION OF BEHAVIOR

Girl calms newborn sister
Typical behavior or better yet normal behavior can b described as the manner in which the society expects a person to behave. On the other hand, atypical behavior can be referred to as abnormal behavior in which a person behavior is perceived as weird. People with atypical behavior have a character trait that is deviates from the norms of a society. With regard to this video where the young girl admires and calms her sibling, it is not expected for her to use such language to admire her kid sister (http://youtu.be/ru6efi2RrIQ). Moreover, the girl’s physical behavior though quite outstanding was least expected. When the baby starts crying the young girl gets surprised and responds typically by calming her young sibling down. The cry of the baby seems to have stirred some cognitive or positive behavior on the girl, and that is why she responds by calming her down. The young girl comes close to her siblings face and tries to calm her down rather shows that her socio-emotional behavior is highly developed at such a young age (Stegge & Terwogt, 2007).
Twins putting themselves to sleep
The second video is about twin brothers who obey their parents when told to go to bed. Typically, children at this age need to be taken to bed by their parents but in this case, they go by themselves. Their mother tells them to go to bed and hurry, and the boys run and put themselves to bed. This is a very atypical behavior because it is so hard for children at this age to get to bed by themselves without little protest. One of the babies also tries to pull the net zipper and seems to understand that it is important to do that, but he is unable to until their mom helps him. This is also an atypical behavior because it is not expected for a child to know how to pull a zipper. Regarding their language they respond positively and fluently to their mother when she bids them goodnight (http://youtu.be/fJ7qFXneLpk). Their language is highly developed at that young age, and this is also typical because for human to learn a language, they must imitate those who speak to them. Their socio-emotional behaviors are also highly developed and atypical because they don’t seem to be disturbed when their parents want to leave them for the night. This is different in most children of that age who start crying once their parents try to leave them (Stegge & Terwogt, 2007). The twins respond positively to what they are told and do not try to make a fuss thus have a good cognitive ability.
"You poked my heart."
In this video we see a boy and a girl trying to argue about the pronunciation of a certain word; they seem to have different views about how that word is pronounced. This is according to what their moms said to them thus they regard it as the truth. Their language seems to be less developed, but the boy’s communication ability seems to be more developed than the rest. When their argument goes on the l...
