Daily Connect is an application which lets both the parents and the teachers monitor the learning of a child real-time. The application is designed for children as young as two years old. What makes this application very helpful is that it does not only help both parents and educators to track the child’s performance but also communicate with each other about how to further improve the child’s learning curve as well as how to make the children enjoy play while also learning more. According to TheCompassSchool.com (2016), the main importance of a good and regular parent-teacher communication lies in its ability to significantly help the development of the child’s emotional, interpersonal, and even psychological skills. In my opinion, what makes DailyConnect a very useful tool is that wherever the parent goes, they could monitor their child’s improvement as well as communicate with the teacher. Thus, I believe that DailyConnect is a good tool, especially today where the parents lack the ability to engage in the children’s learning process, because of their schedules which get more and more hectic as time goes by (PublicAgena.org, 2012). Aside from its help in developing the fundamentals of a strong parent-teacher communication, DailyConnect is also easy and fun to use. With its free demo, I realized how easy I could access the tools with a few clicks of the buttons. Also, the graphs and charts were particularly helpful and easy to understand.
