Improving the Lives of Foster Care Children and Youth
From a young age, my parents used to take me to foster care homes, and we would buy them several necessities that we could afford. As a result, the heart of helping others developed in me; even in my adulthood, I always set a date apart where I would show love to those kids living in foster care. I do not have first-hand experiences growing up without a home, but I know how it feels to be loved. I always make sure that I do anything that will positively impact the children and youths in foster care every month. Most foster care children have very few belongings ranging from clothes, toys, books, and so forth (Sirriyeh & Raghallaigh, 2018).
