On March 8, 2014, flight MH370 vanished over the South China Sea soon after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. Nine years later, the event remains a mystery in the aviation industry as families of the 12 crew members and 227 passengers from fourteen different countries push for another search to be conducted (Kelly, 2023). A recent technical report has attempted to track the path of the flight and, therefore, provide a prediction of where the airplane could have been crushed.
The technical report informs on using a new Weak Signal Propagation Reporter (WSPR) that can be used to track and detect aircraft.
