The feedback systems are crucial to the assessment of the performance that is attained by the staff at any given organization. However, there is a twist to the effectiveness of the same relative to the fact that most of the staff in organizations do not seem to have a clue as to what the feedback system in their various organizations does. Ideally, without a feedback system it would be very difficult to make sure that the economy, for example, is able to self-regulate. This means that most of the factors of production and distribution would be compromised. This would easily result in a system that does not regulate how much is produced and how much is distributed to the consumers. The feedback system tends to bring about balance in the various aspects within any given system. In the case of an organization, staff have to get feedback from the various efforts that they put into the production system, this is the same case with the management. When the management makes decisions that involve the organization’s operations, much of the tasks are carried out by the staff on the lower management levels. This means that there is an element feedback that is required to make sure that all the operations that the staffs carryout are effective. In some of the cases the staff may not be involved in the decision making which is usually catastrophic; using the feedback system the management is sure of the various ways that the staff are responding to the decisions.
One of the ways that the feedback system is used is in the establishment of the changes and the effectiveness of the same. If changes are effected, especially with the mission to improve operations within the organization, feedback systems are crucial in establishing the effectiveness of the changes, the acceptance of the changes is largely reflected on the feedback mechanism that put in place.
