People have different personalities, which makes them fit for different jobs. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) shows four classifications of individuals’ traits. They occur in pairs and include “intuition (N) or sensing (S), introversion (I) or extroversion (E), perceiving (P) or judging (J), and feeling (F) or thinking (T)”. Extroverts focus on the things in the outer world, while introverts pay attention to their inner feelings. Sensitive individuals use their five senses to interpret data, while intuitive people rely on patterns. Thinkers use logic to make rational decisions, while those who are dependent on their feelings are self-centered. Judging individuals are well-organized while perceiving people are flexible, and they do things spontaneously. My personality is ISFJ, which will be the primary focus of this paper.
The MBTI personality assessment depicts that people with ISFJ are responsible, conscientious, friendly, and quiet. These individuals are committed to their duties, and they do not rest until they meet their obligations. They are thorough in undertaking various tasks to ensure that they give accurate and reliable outcomes. I can attest to the above facts since I do not feel comfortable when I have not fulfilled my objectives. Before I engage in something, I set goals and deadlines. For this reason, I prioritize goals based on the remaining time. Moreover, individuals with ISFJ personality traits are considerate, loyal, and remember specific details of things that are vital. They strive to develop a harmonious and orderly environment both at home and workplace. In reality, I cannot handle tasks haphazardly. I believe that one should consider various factors such as the deadline, complexity, urgency, and resource availability before focusing on specific duties. As such, a person should always get prepared by ensuring that one has all appropriate resources before engaging in a particular task. Some of the careers that require adequate planning include teaching and healthcare professional. Most importantly, an ISFJ person welcomes others warmly. Consequently, they enable individuals around them to feel comfortable and in the right place.
The strength finder makes it clear that individuals with ISFJ personality traits are committed, considerate, faithful, and dependable. In particular, when I begin a particular task, I perform it consistently so that I can complete it on time.
