The character on an individual is usually what forms the first line of judgment for that person. There is however the underlying personal traits that are usually so difficult to ascertain, and they rely solely on the individual himself or herself, for manifestation. Integrity is one of these aspects. Integrity is what makes or breaks an individual. There are many instances where people have placed their integrity in trial, while some have failed, others have stood strong. Integrity is basically talking the walk, and walking the talk, all at the same time. It is doing exactly what one says and sticking to the values of honesty as well as transparency.
There are instances where I felt very free displaying my integrity at work. There is this time for example, during my nursing attachment, when I had been sent for some patient's medication. In the rush, I lumped the different medications together, totally oblivious of whi...
