After reading the article, think about your last performance evaluation (or a school-related evaluation). In your initial post, describe this evaluation. How did you feel walking out of that meeting with your manager or professor? Was it meaningful and effective? Did you have a clear understanding of your performance? Did you understand your goals and objectives? 
Next, consider the “new keys to success” discussed in the article. Address the following additional questions in your initial post: Could your evaluation have been made clearer to you? Which “keys to success” would have assisted in your situation? Why? 
In responding to your peers, compare and contrast the various uses or potential uses of the “keys to success.”

The meeting with the manager went well having already been informed about the informed performance evaluation, having already identified the goals and objectives to be achieved within the stipulated time frame. The performance appraisal was meaningful since it used a rating scale and captured the relevant information pertaining to marketing, from duties, completing goals quality of work ability to work in a team, dependability, communication, adhering to policy as well as initiative and drive. Among the goals of the performance review was to determine the extent to which I met the marketing revenue target, while working with other team members to find ways to improve the marketing approach. The choice of performance measures affects the decision making process in an organization, and the management need to identify the most appropriate performance criteria (Grabner & Moers, 2015).
The performance planning should focus more on the criteria for meeting the requirements, and while the performance review also indicates perceptions of the supervisors and managers.
