Both sides of the argument should be equally powerful so that the reader is unaware of the position that you espouse.
This topic is gun control.

The debate over guns has been a topic of debate for several years and continues to be a sensitive topic among individuals in different states. Individuals constantly share their opinions through social media and other communication platforms over the issue of gun control and crimes. Over the years, a large amount of data on gun-related deaths and cases of gun violence have been posted online for individuals to analyze and comprehend on before deciding on the issue of legalizing guns. The individuals who support gun control simply advocate for increasing rules and policies related to owning a firearm. These supporters do not want guns to be easily acquired by ordinary citizens; instead, they demand more regulations so that gun circulation in public would be more controlled (Spitzer, 2012). They argue that guns increase the rate of crime and violence in the streets. This is not far from the truth since more people are being killed and worse still, women and children are affected by the chaos as well. Such scenarios provide answers as to why a parent would want the government to be stricter on the gun ownership policy since they are more focused on providing a more secure environment for their children, especially with the rise of school shooting cases. Furthermore, the large presence of guns in the streets increases the chances of children engaging in violent behaviors at a tender age.
A majority of people believe that guns undermine freedom. Liberty is the ability to freely express oneself, meaning that individuals are allowed to take part in certain practices as long as they do not hurt anybody else during the process. In light of this, an individual is allowed to smoke, drink, afflict injury upon themselves, and even commit actions that can lead to death and self-destruction, as long as no other individual is affected in the process.
