I disagree with AROD's Initial Response to Question A, as By taking the responsibility to be the chain of command for the 250 persons, I have to ensure to take care of my team and ensure they are successful in any given mission. Being the worst-performing team provides me with the challenge to build a high-performing team. Also, with only 30 days to create a change, drastic measures must be made to ensure the team is successful. The first step I would make is to conduct a thorough evaluation to understand the underlying issues, how communication is done, and the performance of each individual. According to Wells, data is significant in any given situation to make sure the plan and solutions align with the problem at hand ( Wells, 2000,66). This would involve collecting data from the department and observing how things are being done.
