* 7 Ways American Racism is ‘Alive and Well’ Today
This article is a web post created by Feder-Stanford for all audiences. The main subject of the article are the reasons as to why American Racism, which some thought to be dead, is still alive these days. In addition to the facts provided by the author, it seems that the use of interviews, structure, and historical appeal added a lot of emotional appeal of the article.
Accordingly, the main reason why I chose this film was because of its emotional and logical appeal. By combining different elements, the writer was able to invoke the audiences’ interests through pathos and logos. Particularly, the consistent and frequent use of ‘expert interview’ helped build an authoritative appeal for its audience, while the use of facts and reference to racism that others have experienced before towards the audience to develop an emotional connection towards the arguments of the author.
If there’s one thing that I want to praise in the whole documentary, it would be the ability of the author to piece together different studies and emotional tactics into a coherent whole. It must be noted that some of the the arguments and the references that were featured in the article were focused on the accumulation of various experiences across time. This simply suggests how much effort was dedicated to research, which was then strategically added to the emotional aspect of the whole piece.
Finally, I believe that there were no significant or visible errors that could be attributed or found when reading the article.

This article is entitled ‘COVID-19 Vaccines Don’t Have Patient-Tracking Devices’ was written by Spencer (2020), in line with the increasing misconception that current COVID-19 Vaccines are planted with microchips that could be used to track one’s location. The presentation is structured in such a way that the author initially presents the ‘false claims’ about the vaccine and then provides interviews from authorities to reject the false notions about it. All in all, it seems that the main objective of the author in writing this story is to debunk the myths lingering about the vaccine, particularly those perpetrated by opponents of the vaccination program.
The main reason why I chose this article was that myths about the new COVID-19 vaccines have erupted and has scattered worldwide ever since it was created. For the most part, this is because of the lack of knowledge about the vaccines due to the necessity to produce them at record-breaking speeds. However, a little (yet alarming) part of the population has spread false information about the vaccine to influence others not to take it. This could then create panic, which would prevent the complete vaccination of individuals, which is necessary to end the pandemic. Thus, given the sensitivity of the issue, I chose this article for its fact-oriented persuasion.
Specifically, I believe that one of the commendable strategies utilized by the author of this article was the heavy use of logos to pe...
