Write an Executive Summary. You will then summarize the case study. Your EXSUM will focus on the historical case study but will be supported by other research you conduct to support your findings. Cite at least one reference. The case studies will allow you to see how the actors represented or embodied these current competencies. Late submission subtract 10 points per day. The NCO Common Core Competencies are six major subject areas covered in NCO Professional Military Education (PME). These subject areas are the administration of Leaders, Communications, Preparedness, Supervision of Training, Operations, and Systems Integration. The NCO Common Core Competencies are the same for all Non-commissioned Officers, regardless of their position, leadership role, or Military Occupational Specialty (NCO Common Core Competencies (NCO-C3),2022). During Operation Overlord, the Allied forces successfully maintained all of the competencies. However, communication had an essential role in planning and carrying out Operation Overload, the world's largest-ever coordinated military operation by multiple armed forces working together (Emmert,2002). Combining communication with the principles of war increased the likelihood of the process of attacking the enemy successfully.
