Recruiting entails the collective process of pointing-out, attracting, screening, shortlisting, and interviewing appropriate candidates or applicants for jobs in an organization. These jobs can either be temporary or permanent. The recruiting process helps the organization ensure that the hired candidate meets all the required skills and legal obligations. The recruiting process also reduces stress by having all the required documents that are important and necessary for the employee to work in a firm or organization.

The process of recruiting a large number of new workers in an organization calls for strategic planning and operational efforts. This begins by pointing out or identifying the positions that need to be filled with employees. Also, the management needs to know how many employees are needed for each position. Then last, the management should also figure out the timeline in which recruiting should be completed. This was demonstrated by KIA, and was able to recruit 500 employees within six months, and added 1200 more employees as time went by.
