Findings of Fact
Findings of fact are strategic issues discussed in the case studies and usually identify potential problem areas for the firm. Additionally, these strategic issues are facing the firm's strategic managers at the end of the case's time frame. Strategic problem statements.
Recommendations/Justifications
Recommendations are directly tied to the findings of fact. For each finding of fact, a thorough, justified, recommendation must be provided. How are you going to rectify the strategic problems that you have identified and why. Additionally, this section should also include an implementation discussion. General statements and blanket conceptual recommendations that are not fully justified with the facts of the case, are not acceptable. The recommendations/justifications section of the paper should be one-two pages each in length.

The findings of facts based on the Best Buy Co. Inc. are terms of Ethical conduct and pricing mechanism. Best Buy Company trains their employees to be ethical and knowledgeable according to the standards of work that comply with their objectives and goals. This is, however, not the case as the employees fail to adhere to the objectives of the company. Employees would deny consumers their right to the benefit of price match principle. Furthermore, the company enhanced this unethical behavior, in that the management would reward the employees who did this.
In finance, the issue that stands out is the Pricing Pressure. This is due to increased competition from other leading stores and the changes in the economic market. Companies, for example, Walmart and Amazon have stores online to offer stiff competition to Best Buy. The competition results to a reduced market for Best Buy Products. To reclaim the market, Best Buy has to lower their prices thus declining the net income and operating margins. Changes in the economic market have affected the company in terms of long-term debts and the unavailability of cash.
The problems of Ethical behavior in Best Buy are easy to solve in several ways. The shaping ranges from the individual, organization, influence from the boss, the culture of the organization and the Ethical code and policies bestowed by the company. Apart from trainings to adhere to the ethical conduct of the organization, employees need monitoring to ascertain their credibility and honesty.
