  • Style – both your slides and you should be professional, interesting and relevant
  • Content – your data needs to be relevant to your research and accurate
  • Projection and clarity – your audience needs to understand your message
  • Questions and answers – you need to be prepared to answer questions effectively and knowledgeably

Your paper should demonstrate your clear understanding of the topic you have elected to research while demonstrating how the topic relates to concepts covered in this course (particularly anything covered in the text between now and 13 April). There is

nothing to stop you from reading ahead, looking at key terms and concepts in each chapter, and considering how these relate to your research subject. No presentation should be longer than 8 minutes—dense, relevant but not attempting to cover the entire paper. Speak to a professional audience.

Successes and failures of foreign market entry for the Coca-Cola Company
Executive summary
Every company has a vision that their organization will grow into an internationally known company. However, few of these companies succeed due to various reasons. There are various elements companies need to consider and different roads to follow before success. In spite of the path chosen, it all starts with using a well-formulated strategy.
The paper assesses how Coca -Cola has tactically positioned itself in the world’s soft-drink market. Given that the company runs in more than 200 countries, it has been faced with a comprehensible choice of whether to standardize their product offerings internationally and reap the possible advantages of economies of scale, adopt their products to a specific market, or adopt an incorporated approach by utilizing both approaches at the same. There has been a lot of prose concerning the external and usually uncontrollable elements which can impact upon a company’s positioning strategy. This paper evaluates these externalities and the inner controllables so as to derive a ‘best fit’ tactical and strategic approach.
Many uncontrollable factors affect Coca-Cola’s international marketing tactical and strategy implementation. These groups of elements are Micro, Macro and Meso factors which comprise of PESTLE, established trends and concepts. Coca-Cola’s international brands are hugely standardized, although many adaptations are taking place.
The company’s profitability and effectiveness is evidently well supported by their powerful market share and competitive positioning in their main product market. Other brands such as Sprite, Diet Coke, and Fanta have also been globally identified and profitable. The company’s international accomplishment is achieved by its tactics and strategy, which balance each other and work harmoniously offering the most favorable returns bounded by effectiveness. The organization is flourishing as it is both efficient and effective.
