The importance of theology has become more apparent during these troubled times. While some might think differently about how it applies to our daily lives, scholars believe that theology is even more applicable, especially during times when individuals need guidance. One of the essential takeaways that I had from the readings was the importance of theology in the age of digital media. As said by Paul (2018), individuals living in this era full of disinformation, conflicting worldviews, and shifting identities are consistently in need of guidance. Accordingly, understanding theology helps us understand the human condition in greater detail and use the knowledge and wisdom we learn from such teachings.
