Success is defined as the accomplishment of a goal or objective (Carmichael). Success results from continuous positive habits and adherence to the rules of success. Simon Sinek discusses ten rules that guarantee success (Carmichael). This paper will discuss my top three rules for success and how I intend to apply these rules in my life.
1 Be Patient
Patience is a virtue that is essential in an individual's success. Patience is not something people automatically have; instead, it is something they consciously practice. Forming a habit of being patient helps people delay gratification during moments when they are frustrated and feel like quitting. Patience is also vital in smart decision-making. It prevents delusion and stimulates sharp focus on the issues at hand, hence enhancing intelligent decision-making, leading to success.
