When setting the goals or targets in life, the goals should be measurable, time-bound, attainable, relevant, and specific. The goals should be specific in that one should know exactly what they want to achieve. The goals should be measurable in terms of the progress a person is taking towards their goals. In measuring the goals, they should be realistic in terms of commitment, a person’s current position, and the targeted amount of time set for that particular goal. When setting the goals, one should choose and compare goals that are challenging but achievable. This differentiates good achievements from better achievements.
