Employees face various challenges at their workplaces daily. Some of the challenges might be unfortunate, but others are squarely on the decisions made by their employers. Some employers give minimal attention to employees’ working environments. In this case, Activision Company faces outrage from angry employees over sexual harassment and underpaying women employees.
Activision has tolerated the sexual harassment of female employees for a long time. The vice is coupled with underpaying these female employees (Browning, 2021). However, the company’s administration addressed the problem with an attitude that indicated it was not as heinous as the prosecution had propagated. Activision was facing a lawsuit in which an investigative agency had discovered the practice of sexual harassment and women’s discrimination at the workplace (Browning, 2021). In response to the unapologetic attitude of the management, workers took to the streets to protest.
