The critique should be a balanced discussion and evaluation of what you feel are the strengths (ideas with which you strongly feel are valid and add to your understanding of the story), weaknesses (points or ideas that you feel are not well supported by the events or details in the story as you understand it) and notable features (points or ideas that you found particularly interesting or that increased your understanding of  the work)

Critique of A Raisin in the Sun Revisited
The article “A Raisin in the Sun Revisited”, by J. Charles Washington, is a detailed review, analysis and summary of the “A Raisin in the Sun" film created by Lorraine Hansberry and opened on Broadway in 1959. My first impression of the article in the opening sentences sparked my interest to read the summary and review of the movie. Charles Washington uses his skills of vivid description and annotation to explain the film, the themes present in the film, the plot, characters and the whole process of its making in a skilful manner. This paper seeks to offer a well and thoughtful critique of the article and from the study, Charles Washington did a splendid job in his work of revising the film and writing about what everyone would love to know about the movie.
Firstly, before getting in to the film, the author explains the reviews and perspectives of other critiques of the film saying that they think the film is a simple protest play and social drama model about a family of colour attempting to buy a house in the U.S. However, Washington elucidates the weaknesses of the critiques stating that due to the Broadway naturalism, the film is a work of social protest and a search of assuring resolutions to the social issue. Finally, the author explains the view of the creator of the film as a counter to the critiques stating that Hansberry said that there was no conflict between the overall features of the play and the themes or implications of the current situation in the country (Washington 109).
