Annotated Bibliography Health Disparities among Underserved in United State Thesis Statement Health disparity has been an issue of concern among the underserved in the United States as well as across the world. A high rate of difference in health and health care between different populations groups have been recorded over the years in the healthcare system. The challenge has greatly affected the ability of the larger population to access quality care and health either due to the increasing cost of accessing health care or unavailability of healthcare resources. Lack of or insufficient access to health care among the underserved and discriminated special and ethnic groups is leading to increasing of worsening of health outcomes. Disparities in health care occur across different dimensions which mainly include the difference in ethnic groups, social-economic status, location, age, gender, disability status, and sexual orientations among other factors. This paper provides literature work which explains deeply on the current status of health disparities while providing an appropriate approach for control and management of the issue thus enabling equity in health care access among all people. Accessing health resources for all is an appropriate social approach that provides guideline toward utilization of available limited resources for the benefit of all.
